So, one time. I was riding my bicycle in the track. I felt down, and got up, i had severe pain in my right shoulder but i though it was just a hit. I woke up the next morning and it hurt like hell, i walked up to the hospital, they did some X-ray, and figure out that i had a broken clavicle.
The doctor said that i would heal it self, or that he could place a plate, i decided to let it heal it self. It’s being about 1 1/2 years and my shoulder still feels funny, i can move my arm like i always did, but when it comes to carry my back back its kind of uncomfortable. I believe that the bone is not joint correctly.
Can some one give me advice in whether i can be disqualify if i was to choose the USCG? I am pretty healthy and do a lot of exercise, i can do push offs fine, but I’m just concern. Should i go have a surgery? should i just not mention it? Is the coast guard intense when it comes to physicals? I also have had physical exams before for job’s and stuff, but the doctors never seem to figure out that i have a broken clavicle.
what should i do?
thanks for all your ideas, and suggestion
yes i can hold a gallon.
the only problem is normal, the muscle burn’s as result of lack of arm exercise.
I work a a lifeguard for the city, park’s and recreation.
So, if a public physician clear the “go” is it a “go” for the coast guard company?
I can also carry a bunch of things, but let me ask. Why does most people lie about it? they seemed to be getting away with it. I mean it doesn’t seem like an evaluation of medical history is something the USCG can pull out.
