I am going in for surgery on the 21st (November) for axillary node dissection and possible removal of infraclavicular node. I have had a ultrasound as well as a CT scan. All I was told that the ultrasound showed a tumor in my lymph node(s) near my clavicle bone.
After looking online for answers to some questions, I see that a few women have mentioned cancer detected through an ultrasound. Is this possible?
