3 days after having clavicle surgery, I noticed I had a sore throat (not serious). I spit, and noticed traces of blood in my saliva. Is this a normal surgery side-effect? I am also on oxycodone, but haven’t read this is a side effect. I have no fever and generally feel ok, but from time to time when I spit there is a bit of blood in the saliva. Some good answers at this time would be helpful before my next appointment.
