The injury resulted in a surgery. The technical info is that I had a distal clavicle excision and a subacromail bursectomy. I have been rated at a Permanent Partial Disability of 9% loss in the right shoulder. The surgery and physical therapy were paid for my work comp insurance, so I didn’t come out of pocket. I have been offered a settlement. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the percentage sounds right for that type of surgery, what a fair dollar amount would be, if anyone got a lawyer, and if so, what the lawyer fee was, and what they used to relieve the pain. I am not looking to get “sue happy” or be greedy, just looking for some honest advice from anyone who has gone through anything similar. Also if anyone has any advice on what could help my shoulder (that is legal, no narcotics), that would be much appreciated! Thanks to all!
